An exclusive field trip is scheduled for all delegates in the afternoon of July 11.  Please bear in mind to dress according to the local cultural etiquette: no short pans, and no sleeveless top/shirt leaving shoulders exposed.  Also, please refrain from taking pictures inside the buildings that will be visited.

From the airport, you can reach Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel by limousine, taxi or by express bus.

TAXI: Contact Taxi counter, Level 2 – Arrivals, near entrances 3, 4, 7 and 8. Prefer the taxi meter service to those who approach you to offer their taxi service, as the latter ones tend to overcharge.

It is a 30 km ride and takes at least 30 minutes and costs about 350 B ($10-15 USD). See the map below for details on the route.

AIRPORT EXPRESS BUS: Airport Express provides air-conditioned bus service between Suvarnabhumi Airport and various areas of Bangkok where hotels are concentrated. Choose route AE3 Suvarnabhumi – Sukhumvit – Wireless Road to bus stop nr. 6, Emporium/BTS Prom-Phong, and walk 5 minutes to the hotel.

The cost is 150 baht for entire route. Airport Express service operates from 5:00 am to midnight. (More info…)

The best option for the transportation from the airport to the venue Hotel is to use a taxi.

- Find “Taxi Meter” line outside of the airport. Tell the person at the info desk that you want to go to the “Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel” located in Suchumvit soi 22.  It usually takes about 30 min without traffic.

- Ask taxi driver to take a toll way and use meter.

- Your need to pay toll fee, meter price, and 50 Baht of Service Charge.

- Price: About 370 Baht (US$10-15) (tall fee: 70 Baht, meter price: about 250 Baht, service charge: 50 Baht).
